Upod Widget + OneTrust

Logged-in Upod users skip the OneTrust banner entirely. Everyone else sees the banner with the Upod widget on top of it.

Flow

  1. The widget loads hidden and checks whether the visitor is logged in to Upod.
  2. Logged in: the adapter applies their Upod cookie preferences to OneTrust and closes it. The banner is never shown.
  3. Not logged in: the OneTrust banner is shown with the closed Upod widget on top of it.
    1. Log in or register via the widget: on the redirect back the adapter applies the Upod preferences and closes OneTrust.
    2. Answer the OneTrust banner yourself: the Upod widget opens afterwards, and Register carries your OneTrust choice into the register flow so the cookie screens are skipped. The widget opens itself at most 5 times per two weeks; after that it stays closed.
Upod: checking login OneTrust: loading Upod widget: hidden

Start over logs you out of Upod and forgets the OneTrust choice, so the flow can be replayed.

Query params added to Register

Nothing yet, make a choice in OneTrust

forwardConsentToRegister: true on the OneTrust adapter hands each OneTrust choice to client.setRegisterConsent(). client.register() then adds these params, and idp-web seeds the cookie preferences from cookieCategories instead of showing the customize screen.
